what is this????
i got a question. i know a thing or two about a thing or two, but my buddy is buying a 97 f350 and it has some kind of controller in it, and i dont quite know what to tell him what it is, or what it is used for. any help would be great...

dont think so because i see a trailer brake controller right underneath the steering column, but i was thinking maybe an add-on abs trailer brake system controller or something along those lines... its a powerstroke so i was also thinking like a engine monitoring system like to measure boost and egt's and stuff...

Well, it could be some type of aftermarket gauges or something a long those lines.
Does it display anything when the truck is running?

im not sure, his wife is checkin out trucks for him in the states. we are Marines stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
