Question Order time?

I special ordered a new Lariate this past weekend. I know what the local dealership indicated is the expected delivery time (6-8 weeks), but I wanted to seek out those who have actually recently ordered one. How long was your wait?.....

Umm i think after they built your truck then you should be able to track it...ask your dealership about it.. its kind of like UPS or Fedex tracking #.

Try that ?? thats only way you ll know its delivering

I order my 04 screw 4x4 lariat 2nd week of April last year, picked it up at dealer 8 weeks later. Mine came from the Kansas city plant. I would say 6-8 weeks is a good estimate. The time just ads to the excitement. Good luck with the new truck and congrads.

I once ordered a new Ford Ranger and had to wait three months. Needless to say that was the last time. But my experience was probably an abberation as it was around Christmas. It shouldn't be a problem at this time of year.

I ordered a SCREW in the new stone grey color and black leather interior. Primary options included a moon roof, limited slip, audiophile, captains chair, bed extender and adjustable petals for the wife...

I plan to add a few after market touches later, but the truck should be real nice right from the plant.

OKF150, I saw that color on an 05 F250.It is great! You ordered two options that you are going to love. They are the audiophile system and limited slip rear axle (whether you have 4WD or not).I have had many factory stereo systems in Ford's and Lincoln.I actually thought the system in my Explorer Limited with JBL subwoofer and amp could not be beat.Well, the audiophile system in my F150 blows it away.Have Fun!

When i'd ordered my 2004 Lariat supercrew back in late november 03 fully loaded except for the moonroof it took about almost 12 weeks for it to arrived from KC to Vancouver BC Canada . So i would say any where from 8 to 10 week for a special custom ordered.

The biggest part of the wait is getting it scheduled to be built. If your dealer placed the order right before they were getting ready to build a line of Lariats the time could be shorter. The truck itself only takes a day or two to build so there would be much to track even if you could. It's the weeks it will sit in a wharehousing yard before it's shipped that would drive you crazy tracking it..
