This is original tran from a 1986 Econoline 150.
It shifts on the floor and supposedly has 3 speeds and OD.
What do you call this tran???
Also, on the tran housing between the linkage posts the are two small posts set up for something electronic. What is this?
Finally, if it has OD, how do I get it into OD?
Thanks for any help.
Curti
If this is a manual tranny, then forget everything I just typed ;-)

It's not an automatic.
Some 80's Econolines came with a 3spd with OD (4th OD)
Should be a standard "H" Pattern
One of these variations should work.

R 2 OD

I'd venture to say that one of the electrical pin sets is for REVERSE and the other could possibly be an OD indicator switch.

Thanks Larry, you are quite right. Now, what's the story with these tranny's? It seems there was a limited production time for them. Does anyone know why? Is it worth rebuilding?
