The AODE in my 95 F150 5.0 is in need of a rebuild. I was wondering what mods they could do while they are in there. The truck is used for street/hiway and some towing. It already has a tranny cooler. Thanks!
LAST EDITED ON 04-Jul-01 AT 05:06 AM (EST)[p]It seems a lot of the Mustang crowd is using products from this company. Baumann Engineering. There web site is http://www.baumannengineering.com From the message boards in the mustang crowd they offer good rebuild kits and upgrade stuff to improve the shifting characteristics of the AOD/AOD-E and A470W trannies.
A friend of mine hooked me to this company, so I'm going by his experience with them. He has installed the re-cal kit for his mustang. It shifts nice. So, I just ordered the re-calabration kit plus some other items. Pressure regulator kit and the bypass kit.
They also offer total rebuild kits and information. They don't sell direct so I had to order from one of their distributor's. You should be able to call them and get the info you need and on a supplier. If not I could give you a # for one.
