Intake performance
Is there any way to take the Stock intake on my 88' f-150 and get rid of those huge tubes going to the throtte body. I think i've heard of people doing this. I don't really wanna go the cold air intake , but if that will give me the most i will.

I don't think you would notice much of a gain by swapping them out, the factory setup is pretty efficient. Increasing the velocity on these tubes would help low end torque and throttle response but might hinder top end performance.
