Hey And HELP!!!!!!

Hey guys im new to this site but im a true, blue ford man. I've got an 86 f150 4X4 and I tore the rearend out yesterday but what rearend is it and what does fixin it entail? thanx

Could be a couple different rearends. You need the tag off the housing to know for sure.
Best bet would be to buy one from a salvage yard. From what I have read, it's pretty technical to rework a differential.

It should be a 8.8" axle, assuming no one monkeyed with it.

I agree - find out what gear ratio you have and get a matching one from the yard.
