Any one know how to program a keyless entry
Hi,
I recently was able to buy a second keyless entry device (small for a key ring) to replace one I had lost. I just need someone to give me directions to program it. I still have 1 of the originals but need to program the second one . Anyone ????

I have an 01 super duty and with mine you put in the key and turn on back to off on back to off and so on . do that sequence around 7 times and your door locks will activate,then hit button on remote.I belive thats it

From a 2003 F250/350/450/550 owner's manual, page 70:
To reprogram the remote entry
transmitters:
1. Ensure the vehicle is
electronically unlocked.
2. Put the key in the ignition.
3. Turn the key from the 2 (LOCK)
position to 3 (OFF).
4. Cycle, eight times, rapidly (within
10 seconds) between the 3 (OFF)
position and 4 (ON). Note: The
eighth turn must end in the 4 (ON) position.
5. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming
mode has been activated.
6. Within 20 seconds press any button on the remote entry transmitter.
Note: If more than 20 seconds have passed you will need to start the
procedure over again.
7. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that this remote entry
transmitter has been programmed.
8. Repeat Step 6 to program each additional remote entry transmitter.
9. Turn the ignition to the 3 (OFF) position after you have finished
programming all of the remote entry transmitters. Note: After 20
seconds have passed, you will automatically exit the programming mode.
10. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming
mode has been exited.

Now if I can do this and not launch a missle or something
That will only happen if you hold you left foot up while programming, use your cell phone... while the wife use the fax machine. At that moment there will be shift in the space time continuum….Disrupting the cosmos for ever ….all of us hope you do not do that!~!
