ABS light
i have got a 96 f-150 4x4 and the abs light come on so i checked it, it flashed 11 short and 1 long which indicates a code 12 which is low brake fluid but my fluid is fine, the reservior is full, what is the problem and how can i fix it.

yes, that is what i meant when i said i checked it, i conected a jumper wire to the orange/black wire and the other to a ground and the abs light flashed a code 12 which is either low brake fluid or brake fluid level switch is bad, where is the switch, the connector was under the passenger side dash under the glovebox.

do you have a plastic the reservoir? If so the switch is under the resevoir with three wires on it. One goes to ground, one to the ignition switch and the other to the rabs module. You might make sure the float inside the reservoir isnt sticking.
