289 302 cost

I am looking for a 289 302 and I want to know what they are worth
i want a pretty much compleate engine to put in place of my 232/3.8 v6 that is ****** up due to my Right foot I want a small v8 for economy in my f100 Ford 9in with 4.11 gears and soon to be four speed or at least a floor shifter for the 3 speed

Why not jump it up to a 351; nearly the same as the 302, but more hp and torque available. Anyway, from a junkyard for the entire engine and accessories, you can look at $500 and up; if you buy a long block, you're looking at $800-$1000; and you're looking at $2000-$3000 and up for a crate motor.

and had every thing disconnected then my daddy came and said that I had enough room to rebuid the engine in the truck and I do but it was the oil pump
