Ride Height
I have a quick question guys.....on the web site it Ford states that the 4x2 and the 4x4 ride at the same height. I have the (04 Scab) FX4 package with the 18" rims and a friend has the screw(05) and has 17" rims. She seems to ride a significant amount lower than I do. Doesn't the rugged suspesion (rancho shocks) have the 4x4s ride higher? Does the rim factor come into play. I know its only 1/2 an inch in rim but still...i ride almost 2 inches higher.
Oh there is a suspicion that the 4x4 frame is almost 2x stronger than the 4x2...is that true???

A screw and scab will sit at different heights. Also, yes the rim size and tire size come into play, as well as the front suspension. I think the frames are almost identical. I dont know where you heard that, but its bunk.

Frame.
When I wrecked my truck my frame they were repairing it and the tech that was doing the work said that if i had 4x2 that I would have broken the frame and lost the engine. ?? I dont know thats just what I heard.
