1999 Lightning pricing question

theres a 99 lightning for sale down by where i live with 21000 miles on it, and they're wanting 19,000. its in great condition, white, with tinted windows, the normal things you'll find on a lightning. is this a good price and what do you think the lowest they would go for it would be?

That's probably a bit on the high side. Check edmunds.com to get a true value in your area. Edmunds seems pretty close to what is reality. If I were buying another one, I would stay with an '01 or later. What state are you in?

i live in washington state, but currently i am residing in florida. i'll be down here for the summer.

why would you stay 01 or later, by later you mean older? im not looking to get one then mod the heck out of it. my current truck has a 4 cylinder, supposably 118 hp, but then i have 33's on it as well, so it aint fast. i've driven freinds lightnings, and love them just the way they are. plenty of stock power for me.

I'm too lazy right now to type. Check out this thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=330063

If you aren't going to mod the truck, then IMO paying a premium for a mint condition one with low miles is the way to go, but I would still go with '01 or newer.

I just bought a 01 L on eBay with 18,500 miles for $19,999. You need to shop around, but the deals are out there.

ya, i plan on shopping around. the thing is though, lightnings are cheaper down here in florida compared to washington st. the same used lightning in florida for 18, is 23 in washington, so im just trying to see if i can jump on a deal this summer, i don't know if i will be able to or not though.
