Lariat without woodgrain?

Does anyone know if you can get a 05 F250 with the Lariat luxury pkg without woodgrain trim? I personally think woodgrain usually looks cheap and I would rather do without it. I have a feeling I will be stuck with it though. Thanks for the help!

No- you'd have to go without the luxury pkg to not get the woodgrain. Or try to get a Harley.

Just leave the Lariat Luxury package unchecked and you will do with out the wood grain trim, auto temp control EATC, auto dimming reaview mirror, bronze face instrumentation with message center and steering wheel controls. This was taken out of the 05 brochure.

I just don't understand why Ford has to "package" everything and doesn't let you select what you want. I want everything else in the Lariat luxury pkg but the woodgrain because 1)It looks cheap 2)I plan on having dark interior and wood grain + dark interior=funny looking. I guess I am just very picky. I drove a XLT sport and I liked the interior of that, all monochrome with dark trim. I guess that is why they make aftermarket parts! I just wish they had one long list of options to pick from instead of all these packages! It's not like the packages save you anything, or at least not much. Oh well, I guess I will have to live with it.

The wood grain wasn't very appealing to me either, however when I put my order in I was informed the delivery date would be later without the luxury package. Needless to say, I'll be getting the wood grain.

The brochure isn't exactly accurate. The Lariat Luxury package includes woodgrain on the instrument panel; EVERY Lariat gets woodgrain on the door trim panels as standard.

Why not just paint over the woodgrain? Hi-gloss black would look sharp with the gray interior.

Jeff- was that a mid-year change? I could swear we got two of those in earlier in the year w/o woodgrain.

Every Lariat we've had so far has had the Lariat Luxury Package. I was going by the 250/350 section of the Ford Source Book, page 5.

Jeff- just went out and looked at one. F350 Crew PSD, Dk Tor Red/Flint Leather, no Lux Pkg. No woodgrain on the dash, but it does have it on the door trim panels. Good werk.

You may be able to change out the woodgrain pieces with after market pieces or even order the factory items for the XLT. I have no idea what the cost would be.

I have a similar problem. I don't want the sliding rear window but do want a leather interior.

DON'T want the sliding rear window??

that's the best feature. When it's 80 outside and you're like me .. too cheap to run the auto AC so pop open the rear window.

I have the Lariat Lux and hated the white guages when I first got the truck . The shiny woodgrain you see in a lot of vehicles. My 02 Accord has it too. These things grow on you after a while and I sure would not want to give up the steering wheel controls, that auto heating cooling is awesome, my wife commented , this is the first vehicle we have ever owned that you are not constantly playing with the temp control. The electric rear mirror works well, and the new message centre is a big improvement. In Canada a Lariat only comes with the lux pkg. but I would pay extra for it in a heartbeat. Wrench.
