Stalling while cold
I have an 02 and it stalls out/does not want to start when its cold out. It will turn over just fine, but it will not start. After while it will start, but then want to stall. Even after it gets running it will tend to stall otu when I put it in gear. It seems like a fuel problem to me, but I wasnt sure, its got 40,000 miles on it, would a fuel filter be a likley canidate? Is the fuel filter on the frame rail like most cars? I just havent had to time to look at it, yet. does anybody have any ideas/tips? Thanks

The IAC (idle air control) may be sticking. It's the silver cylindrical object mounted above the throttle body with two screws. Does it start better if you crack the throttle?
The fuel filter is mounted underneath, left-rear, back by the fuel tank.

Could be bad gas. Does your locale add alcohol to the winter gas mixture? If not, try adding a bottle of Heet Isophropyl alcohol to the tank to absorb any moisture in the tank. Also try filling up at a different station. If that doesn't help, I would try running a bottle of Techron injector cleaner through with the fresh tank of gas.
