unhappy too
my truck is very temprimetal with white smoke always at start up aftr prolly 5 mins of cranking ti get her started, , rough idles and nasty vibration at 75mph. today, my 04 350 6.0 would not start. i think i may have even burnt the starter b/c my truck stinks now, but i had to go to work, what am i suppse to do? ford came get her. my buddy's 6.0 is running bad too and lacks so much power. his 7.3 has more power than his or mine. oh well, i'll let ya know wht the dealers says. i wish i would have looked closer at the dodges or ford should have kept t eh 7.3

Sorry to hear that you're having problems. Are you both buying your fuel at the same place? Both purchased your trucks from same dealership? Both broke them in the same way? Engine build dates roughly the same? Same rigs?
You sould never crank the starter that long. It should have started. When the problems started, did you empower the waranty at the dealer or keep driving it?
