5.0 engines

What years did the F150 come with the 5.0L engine? Is it the same as the mustang 5.0L engine?

5.0 engines

1968-1996 F-series had the 302, but in 1978 Ford started calling the 302 the 5.0L.

The mustang motors and the truck motor's are the same, but the mustang has different heads and cam's, to provide better hp.
