I got a 1998 Ford Explorer 2 wheel drive with abs. I changed the brake rotor, brakes, and calipers on both side. I bled the brakes correctly but the petal still doesnt have and restriction. there isnt any air in the lines. the only thing i could think of is the master cylinder is having problems.

Did you have the pedal problem before you changed the calipers? Also, did you work on the front or rear brakes, and was the master cylinder ever completely dry?
When you replaced the calipers, did you put them on the correct side? The bleeder screw HAS to be at the top of the caliper. If it's not, you will never get all of the air out of the system.
Also, are the back brakes adjusted properly? Does the pedal get hard if you pump it a few times?
