Estimated Time to Replace Carb
I have a 71' F-100 with a 2 barrel carb that needs replacing. I bought a rebuilt carb from National Carburetors, and I'm having it installed.
What is the estimated time for the replacement if all goes well?

Replacement time
Yup, four bolts, gas line, throttle linkage, and a vac line or two. I'd throw in maybe an hour for some quick adjustments, usually just the hot and cold idle adjust and the idle mixture. Depending on how close the carb is out of the box, changes to jets and power valve(s) might also be needed, maybe a quick adj to the accel pump cam/pre-load. These should be required only if you've made noteable changes to compression, cam, etc - or if the carb isn't setup for your close-to-stock motor, assuming that's what you've got.
