Billet Grills

If anyone has one of these, could you please tell me how thick the rod is and how far they are spaced apart? I'm building one at school out of steel, and the rod will be a little bigger than the billet ones (maybe 3/8inch?) but I need to know how far to space them. Thanks.

do you want a big bar one like my grill, or one of thoese with the small itty bitty lines .. i could measure mine if you want that style.

Does 9 pieces of 5/8inch rod and 8-3/4inch spaces sound about right. Total height should equal 11 and 5/8 inches.
