like nate said 80-86 for stock parts but you can
change the front clip to the later 87 and later
with out changing the cab a bed from a later
model will work also the cab and doors
if you put a 87-96 front clip on a 80-86 to make it look right
you need the bed the fender flares are diffrent you can make a
87-96 bed look good on a 80-86 truck with stock front clip

oh, oh, oh...So what you are saying is that if I have an '85 F-150 I can use the front end (headlights, grill, bumper, etc.), fenders and hood off of an 87-96 F-150 without any modifications?
There is a full front clip (for an XLT I believe) sitting next to a road I travel a lot and it's in really good shape. I've been wondering if I could swap them out. Woo hoo!
