tecumseh parts
ok this is kind inspired by the karting thread, but i have a higher horsepower motor and i want to get some extra horses out of it
its a tecumsh power sport 6.5 and a non running 6.0
the 6.5 i was thinking like a new carb or umthing, maybe or a sneaky peat nos system
on the 6.0 the motor was done so i wanna build up a high performance motor, for um mudding!!!!

Scrap the tecumseh. They aren't really reliable, and they are expensive to fix. The only good thing about them is there is a lot of material in the block. If you really want to build up the 6, have the machine shop bore it for a small block chevy piston, then have the rod remade to attatch to it. Then order or have a new cam made for it, make it pretty radical. And put bigger valves in it. Then get a weber single barrel off an old VW, and make her go.

yeah, i know, i have a lawn mowere htat run a briggs and we didnt change the oil on it for 8 years, and i w2ould perpusly run over rock with it , i went with the tecumseh cuz thats waht it came with, adn so i would have extra parts for it, it did have a briggs racing motor, but sumthing wasnt right and the carb was alsmot back wards, you woud let of the throttle and it would be wot (wide open throttle) but when you let of fit was at idle, but once it warmed up it was back to normal
