Signal buzzer

I have A 77 F250 and would like to know if in 77 the signal switch had a buzzer of some kind to let you know your flasher was on?Before I go looking I need to know if there was one.Mine makes no noise at all. Just light flashing.
If there was none could I tap into the flasher relay for one?

I never saw one with a buzzer but I don't see why you couldn't add one . maybe your flasher is shot. Tom

The flasher makes a kind of clink-clink sound, but there is no separate noise maker in the circuit.

The reason I need this info is I have to take a drivers road test in this truck and everthing has to be working,But if it is not factory equiped I fine.I don't know what the examiner will say.He/she will just have to look to see if I signal or not. I would like to put some sort of buzzer in later.
