Intake Restrictors
Hello,
This is my first time to post, but I have been viewing for a long time. I have a '92 F250 with the 460. I have read about removing the restrictors (reducers?) in the tubes that come off the air cleaner box. Is there a noticable benefit to doing this? Is it easy to do? Also, is there any problems that could be caused by doing this? Thanks for the help!

I have done this personally...
It it purported to be worth 20 to 25 HP along with a bump in initial timing to 12 to 14 degrees.
It gave my high cube noticable seat in the pants kick.
In short do it. Remove the trumpet horns back to the air cleaner box leaving enough for the hoses to attach and radius the holes remaining.
