Thanks for the help guys. As of now the plan is refill/clean out front and rear diff's and new rear differential cover since the stock one looked like it had been gettin a little to hot. Any suggestions on covers? I'd like to keep price lower somewhere around $150 for cover, I've seen Mag-Hytec and they look like best quality but they a little to much $$ and little more than what I need. Hopefully I'll knock this all out on 2 days over easter break at most. Right before the offraoding season opens again

I hope it only needed fluid. We had to change the rear end on my sons 4X4 because the oversize tires & probably loose u-bolts caused the housing to crack. We were going to use the existing differential w/ the new housing but found that the gears etc were really eaten up, we bought the truck w/100k & the grease had never been changed. Let us know how the synthetic works. I am thinking about switching also, will use a laser thermometer to check temps b4 & after.
