New Problem

I have all the components wired up the only place the amp would fit other than under the dirver/passenger seat is the driver's side rear compartment behind the back seat. Will my amd and crossover be okay in there being that there's near no ventilation in there? Also I have 2-10" Quantim 1500 watt speakers with the huge magnet, the box I bought for the truck is in my opinion kind of small. I'm going to need spacers to mount the speakers in the box, by pulling the bolts for the rear seats out I know they'll fit but it's going to be tight. Is there another box with enough air space to do what I'm tring to do. I know I can pull the back wall out but I really don't want to loose the compartments back there, does anyone make a similar box with the two built in door compartments?

as long as your amp is not in direct contact with other equip. or
truck parts you will be fine--for example-do NOT mount it to the back wall
and have a seat against the top of it or stuff against the sides of it

I personally cant follow your box\sub question -maybe some 1 else can chime in

I will say that there are some subs on the market now in a shallow mount\basket design that are excellent for tight spots
for example

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...401920,00.html

this sub uses about 3 3/4" mounting depth

there are endless possibility for sub enclosure designs
but they are all limited to the physical dimensions\requirements
of the subs being used
