2.5L Swap to a 2.3L older Ranger

Has anyone on here put a new 2.5L engine into an older Ranger that had a 2.3L originally?

Was it it worth it in the end? What problems did you have?

You would have to use the DIS ignition system cause the 2.5 doesnt have the location for the distributor, if you use the DIS you obviously have to have the fuel injection. Other than that, its not any harder than any other 2.3. I was going to put a 2.5 in my pinto Squire, halfway through tearing the engine out I removed the PS bracket and found out it didnt have distributor hole.
