Did you have a good season once the snow finally came?
I have a 2002 SummitX 800 and this sledding season blew by and I hardly used it --> what a bummer! We usually end up riding in the Nipawin area, Duck Mountain area into Manitoba, Good Spirit Lake, kinda wherever the best snow is.
I have rode about 1200 miles this year. Mostly around around the trails at home -- Redvers, Carlyle, the southeast corner of the province. There were a bunch of us that went riding up to Hudson Bay from Roblin MB. We made about 550 miles over 3 days and the snow was great!
Excellent post there LaredoF350. The thread has garnered so much discussion around here! :
I get the same feeling, kinda like the Maytag repairman. You will get used to it or you may end up talking to yourself, worse yet you may even end up answering youself. I keep too broke fixing my old Fords to have a snow machine, just kidding. Have an old Honda Quad, in most winters untill now it was all that I needed to go out into the fields around my farm. If we have a meeting around the time of the Draggins car show will you come to it?

Easter weekend is pretty busy already:
Thursday - both Ski-Doo and Polaris have their new sled previews
Friday - maybe take in car show
Saturday - hoping to go sledding with some friends that I haven't even gone with this winter
Sunday - family!
Mix all this in with being in calving season, trying to haul grain, just getting things going with a new girlfriend, fixing up our old boat to sell, buying a new computer......aaaaahhh »» what a week coming up!

Who ever comes to the Draggins show could meet for a quick coffee ect. Others will be in the same time bind that weekend. It may work for the out of town members. Think I will post a thread on this later today, if you want you could do it as well.
I was gonna have a new MXZ 600 Renegade this fall, but went to university instead. Ahh dreams....... Found out that twistin wrenches wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Do n't get me wrong, I like it, but I wanna still like it in 20 years, and have a body to do it with.
I have 3 sleds, 99 polaris sport touring....awesome sled
95 A/C 340 Puma....wife's
89 yamaha Bravo for the kids.
I ride to work most days thru the winter, and put on about 600 miles a season. Each year a bunch from work go north of La Ronge....75 miles to a cabin and sled around there, this year we did 230 miles that weekend.
The snow this year has been incrediable.....almost too much to ride. It is crotch deep everywhere. This much snow hampered our ride north because we are the only ones going there we had to break all the trails.
La Ronge is the place to ride my southern pals !!!!
We were up there a few years ago. Stayed at Harbor Inn(I think thats what its called) on Friday night, rode to Thompson Camps (Missinnippi) through Stanley Mission and past Nist***** Falls on Saturday and spent the night - then returned on Sunday. It was pretty nice! Is the Zoo spelled Z O O?
Yup the zoo is called and spelled the ZOO. Usually aplly named.
One place that I stayed clear of when I drove thru town on my northern runs to the mines! I thought that with a name like that it was a great place to stay out of.
