86 alignment question
I am interested in buying an 86 F150 4x4. I went and looked at one the other night and it is almost perfect. There is one thing I need to know before I get it. The front wheels have serious positive camber (top of the tires out). The owner thinks it has a small lift on it, maybe two inches. He says he has not tried to get it aligned yet. I am not familiar with 4x4's yet, so I ask... will a simple $50 alignment fix this or is something really screwed up?
Also, is ther any other problem areas of this year that I should look into?

You asked if anything else is a problem with this model - I've had my 86 F150 4X4 for 12 years and had it aligned once, as preventive maint. I wish all my trucks would stay aligned like this one. Tires run true, never pulls to one side, etc. It is used regularly off-road to haul firewood, get to hunting camp, as well as being driven daily 20K miles/year. 285K on the clock with an engine rebuild, tranny rebuilt twice and diff rebuilt twice, but alignment? - no problem.
