I wish the Cuyuna Range was still open to 4x4's and OHV's, there were so many trails, mud holes, water holes to go through, you could be back there for days and still can't go down all the trails. but as of summer of '04 they closed it down cause of Erika Dalquist's body, even though it wasn't found in the pits. Just so no-one could get back there, and If you do make it back there, and they catch ya, you get a $2k fine, and 90 days in jail.

Daytonsgirl- i go wheeling with my truck / four wheeler not too far from Park Rapids quite a bit, and we have 240 acres of leased hunting land 20 minutes from PR. i also go in the Paul bunyan forest, which is pretty close to there also. i usually camp out there.

I wish I new some places to go wheeling around but you need to know people with some land and I don't know many around here. I used to go alot when I lived in Duluth. Lots of old logging roads up there. I need some mud.
