300 headers. Worth it?

300 headers. Worth it?

well i found a set well one header for my 300. i was wondering if it is really worth puttin it on. will i gain any horse power or anything at all?

Not really worth the time or trouble - more bang for the buck with EFI exhaust manifolds with a walker Y-pipe.

Just my $0.02 worth

I'm sure if you port and smooth the exhaust port and bowl in the head those headers will give you twice the power.

I did the Oscar Meier trick, not a bunch of difference until I did the Holley/Offy DP. Seems if you can't get the fuel in, there's nothing to get out.
After I did the intake the exhaust note was a lot sweeter.
