2 problems ?

I have 2 problems, I have a 2001 xlt extended cab 4.0 motor. The door ajar light will not go off and I can't shut off the int. lights had to pull them out. 2nd is my auto trans o/d light flashes every now and again until you shut it off and turn it back on then it goes away. Any Ideas?

the first problem is common. the switch is in the door latch. just spray both door latches with some WD-40.

From: South Jersey

Go to a local parts store and they can pull the codes of the OD light issue, most will do it for free, post the code.
