New engines?
I'm wondering if anyone has gone through an engine change recently. I want to stick a 4.0L in my 87' Ranger and I'm gathering some basic information. Let me know what I need to expect, complications (if any), and a general dollar amount that I can look forward to spending.

i just replaced the motor in my 97 B4000, used 4.0 motor with 125,000 kms $1000
i later went to the dealer to price out a 4.0 short block it was $1650 this is canadian funds had i of known that the new one was that inexpensive i would have bought it
