Another code reader questions
93 B2600 2.6 2WD
I've found a lot of info, but can't find the "short and sweet" version of how to pull codes. I thought there was a simple method to pull these codes.... like "short these pins and count the check engine light flashes" .
This truck has had a sensor or some other problem for a while now. It drives fine, but the check engine and chargine lights are on. ( Actually charging system is working.) The lights will go out when different devices are used.... push in the cigerette lighter and the warning lights go out - same thing if you turn on the headlights and the blower motor.

Yes, I skimmed through that. lots of good info, I just thought it was a couple quick steps and there are a number of pages there. Unfortunately it is a little difficult for me to sort through some of the scanned info.
