Tranny swap

I have a '94 f-250 ex-cab 4X4 with a 7.3idi turbo. Just put a new engine in 3 months ago, now the 3rd e4od crapped. I found a doner 2wd 5spd truck for pedals, master cylinder etc. How can I convert 2wd tranny to 4wd without putting in a divoced transfer case?

Generally you have to change/swap the tailshaft housing if it is a separate piece, and change the tranny output shaft to the 4x4 versions. Then you can bolt the t-case to the trans.
