An aftermarket keyless entry was installed on my 01 Explorer XLS at an electronics retailer a while back. Unfortunately they didn't hook the horn up to the unit (I'm guessing because they couldn't figure out which wire was the horn or locate the wire). I figure I can simply do it myself. I read somewhere that the dark blue wire is the one I should be looking for. Can someone verify this? Should it be under the steering column or is it in it?
Also, after taking the panels underneath the steering wheel, I noticed a connector on the right side not attached to anything. The wire was light blue/white. I was just wondering if anybody knew what that connector was for.
