What guages?

I am thinking of getting guages and pillar pod for my F250. What guages are normally used, what should I monitor? Also are there any tips for installation of this equipment?

same question as above, but what can I expect to pay for the A pillar mount with three guages? Does the A pillar reduce any visability? My truck is basically stock, I replaced the muffler and tail pipe. Levi

I bought a 2 guage pillar mount for mine and they were boost and pyrometer but with my new truck it would probably be Pyrometer and Trans temp. The whole set up cost me $300.00 at Diesel Dynamics in vegas (they have a web site).

I have the X-Monitor cost $450.00. Motor Hevan sell them also. I too call Diesel Dynamics in vegas they wanted $350.00 to install it so I install it my self very easy to do, about 3 Hours to install. The X-Monitor gives you Trans Temp, Pyro and Boost on one screen and you keep you grab bar.
