For anyone interested in pro comp tires, right now there is a sale on ebay motors with some really good prices. Buy 3 and get the 4th free and free shipping! I picked up a set of 35x12.50x17 AT's for $698. They have AT's, MT's and Xterrains. I really wanted the Xterrains but was afraid they would make too much noise on the road so I went with the AT's. Just do a search for pro comp tires and be prepared to lighten your wallet.
That "Sale" is normal. Many retailers run that all year round. ProComps have a less than stellar record for quality though. I have both heard about, and experienced them. Being out of round from the factory is a big one that sticks out. You might want to check them out a bit further if you really are interested in them (I am sure many will disagree with me).
I can only attest to the 4 pro comp x terrain 35's that I have now. I got the same deal from an internet site and I have loved these tires so far (after about 12000 miles.)
your truck looks great. i'm looking at some exhaust for my truck. right now i have a single flowmaster 2.25" i think with 3" tips. i'm considering the flowmaster 40 series. how loud is yours, cause mine is not loud enough. also what size pipe and tips do you have. i would appreciate any help. thanks.
What was the total lift in the rear from the Pro Comp Suspension lift?
I currently have 35's with a 3" Body lift and 2.5 leveling kit. I was told by Pro Comp
that my rear would only go up 4.75" and the front 6" with the spacer.
Just wondering! Either way Blkbuty gonna be TALL !
My 6" Pro comp lift raised the front 6 inches and the rear 4 I believe (may be 4.75)
My exhaust is the flowmaster 40 series muffler single in/dual out 3 inch pipes with 3.5" stainless tips. I picked it because it was supposed to be one of the loudest on the market. It will roar when you really get on it, but to tell you the truth, under normal driving, it is not intrusive at all. At highway speeds, you wouldn't even know it was there. I kinda wish it was a little louder, especially when I hear some of the hemi's with exhaust systems that really scream.
I am currently running Pro Comp AT's on my F250. (Summer tire) There are several Better tires out there for lot's less money. These will not make it to the stated 50K miles. On top of fast ware, they are pro rated only for replacement with the same tire. these replaced MT MTX tires. got 33K out of them and they cost $435 for 4 installed. I will be going back to the MT's in a year or so.
I Have 35' At's On My '78 Bronco, And Really Like The Wear. They Have Been On For About 4 Years. I Got Them For About 110 A Piece Then. And They Shipped Them To Me For Free From Florida To Wv In A Tractor Trailer Right To My Driveway. Now Thats Cool!
Got the Pro Comp XTerrains 37/13.50R18's installed today!
WOW WOW WOW they look SaWeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Yes they are a bit louder on the road but the looks alone win over the noise. I just crank the stereo. As for the ride it is not quite as sweet as it was 18 months ago (Stock) but oh well I love my truck second to my wife and kid!
