40-45 ft. lbs. after they are tightened two turns at a time front to back an the drivers side and rear to front on the passenger side. I have never had a problem just tightening a turn at each bolt back and forth on each side.
Pttt; I have seen motor production shops run down the rocker shaft bolts with a impact gun "one shot till tight" each bolt. The damn things still run, wow but not my motors. 45 degrees before TDC and after TDC to reduce the cam lift on the rockers to torque the shafts down and in small even steps are best.
