If in doubt, call your dealer - it can't hurt. Even when there is a public "recall", there can be additional "programs" where if you notice your switch leaking, it'll be fixed for free, even though it's not "recalled".
I went through that with my '96 t-bird 4.6L where the intake was covered by a "program" where if it leaked, it would be fixed, but not until it visibly leaked.
Call your dealer, stop by, whatever, if you have any questions.
