Cool Speed Sensor in Electric Shift Transfer Case

I need a speed sensor for my 87 BII's electric shift transfer case. As it is pretty messed up I cant read the number on it, and the wonderfull ford dealership here doesn't know what Im talking about. Does anyone here know what the part number is and maybe where I can get one?

Tell them you need a speed sensor for a 1987 B2 4x4... They will then ask if it's auto or manual... Then IF they stock it they can help. You will prolly end up at the parts store.

I did that, they cant find the part in their computer system. The parts store tells me its a ford only part.

What parts store? Autozone is useless. Try napa or Advance, Oreilly's pep boys etc. AutoZone told me the torque coverter lockup solenoid for my malibu was a dealer only part. I went home and found it on their website........ Trust the counter guys no farther than you can throw them.
