The excess inventory problem we had in January has grown to crisis proportions. For a sale completed by March 15th (with you taking delivery by March 31st) for IN-STOCK vehicles only, my boss has asked that I post the following offers:
All new 2005 Expedition, Excursion, Freestar, T-Bird and Crown Vic: $1700 BELOW invoice
All new 2005 F-Series, Ranger, Explorer 4-door and Explorer Sport-Trac: $1200 BELOW invoice
All new 2005 Taurus, Five-Hundred, Freestyle, and Escape: $700 BELOW invoice.
These are SELLING prices; you still get credit for any and all rebates IN ADDITION to these prices. For example, a Freestar is $1700 below invoice plus $3000 Ford rebate plus $1000 Ford Credit rebate for a total of $5700 below invoice! Know anybody looking to steal a minivan?
With the exception of Five-Hundred and Freestyle (which can be ordered), I will state again these prices are for IN-STOCK vehicles only; no orders, no dealer trades, no incoming sold orders (you know who you are...). FYI, we have ONE Excursion and limited 250/350 inventory. We have ONE 2004 Harley-Davidson PowerStroke Crew Cab 4x4, and 5, 2004 Explorer XLS 4x4s that I will sell for the $1700 below invoice amount. With the current $6000 in rebates on 2004 Explorers, that puts you in a new 4x4 Explorer XLS Sport for around $21000. Or my last 2004 Crown Vic LX Sport w/ a moonroof, that stickers for $32500, is now $24000 with the discounts and rebate.
Okay, let's see your local dealer beat THOSE prices!
I know my uncle is looking to buy a truck. I don't know exactly what he is looking for, but my mom mentioned it the other day. He is down here for Bike Week and I will see him sometime next week. I'll run this by him He lives in southern Virginia, so I'll try to convince him of how close that is to Victor, NY
Sharp eyes. At $200 below invoice, along with all the extra rebates Ford offers on that little car, we decided that was the one model we didn't need to include. Besides, this is a "not-enough-room-on-the-lot" problem, and we can park 6 Focuses in the space that one F-350 Crew Cab dually takes up!
I can work out deals on just about anything, but trying to get out of a lease early will ALWAYS cost you a lot of money. Unless you have 6 months or less to go on the lease.
