I have an 85 f-150 that starts fine, but will not shut off at the key switch.
I have already replaced the switch on the top and I have replaced the switch
at the bottom. I have tried every position I know to adjust this thing and it will still not shut off. any ideas on how to adjust this thing? thanks.
what happens when you turn the key to the off position? is the truck acting like it wants to shut off but can't (it's called "dieseling")? If that's the problem, time for a tune up. try shifting into reverse before turning the key off.
