D44, D50, same ring gear?

D44, D50, same ring gear?
I am somewhat confused, I just had 4:10 gears put in my 85 F-250 S-cab 4x4. I thought it had the D50 front, it needed the heavy duty ball joints, and the #4600 axle brake rotors. I asked to have my old gears back, and they put them in the boxes my new gears came in. The one box said it had contained 4:10 gears for a ford D44. Do the D44 and D50 have the same size ring gear, and just larger outside components? I am gonna try and sell the old gears just in case someone needs them, and don't want to falsely advertise them.

Okay, I had a brain fart, I went and double checked the box again and it said it was for a 9" 3:70 R&P set. But someone wrote on the box "D44???". So I am assuming the D44 gearset is at least similar to the D50 set? The guy who boxed them must have forgot what axle I had.
