'98 2.5l Obdii?
HI, I'm wondering about my chip ('98 2.5L4). Is it the OBDII? Can it be re-programed w/the proper tool? Anyone have any experience w/the re-program or using an aftermarket chip in a Ranger like mine? What kind of parameters can be changed on the stock chip, if any?

Yes, your truck is OBDII. You can buy chips for your rangers computer that will improve the performance, change shift points, for automatics, change top speed, all of that good stuff. There are links in this forum that will take you to online parts providers just for rangers, and they will have all the chips and performance parts you need. Hope this helps.
