truck keeps dieing

ive got a 92 f-150 5.0L and it keeps on dieing. Usually on fuel injected you dont have to sit there and keep it reved up for 10 min. till it gets warm but that what i have to do. And even when it is warm if i am backing up and i stop to put it in drive it will just die. and sometime i will be in drive pullin up to a stop sign and when i let off the gas to hit the brake it dies on me. if you have ne advise help please.

Check to see what rpm's you are idling at...maybe too low!

Clean your EGR Valve and IAC on the Throttle Body. Might as well clean that too.... All with Carb Cleaner....

my RMPs are about 500-700 and how hard is it to clean all that other stuff?
