Has anyone purchased and used the "Tornado Air System." I see it is aprx $70. I wondered if it truely works. It claims on the F-150, it will improve horsepower by 12% and gas mileage from 12.5 mpg to 16.9 mpg. I may take a shot. Any advise?
Don't waist your money. I have two friends that bought the system and they didn't see any improvement. They returned them within the 30 trial period. They were running it on a Dodge though. IMO - It's just another gimmick
That "Tornado" product SCAM has been around since way before my 97 Explorer. I think maybe even before my 1990 Isuzu. I've read lots of bad postings about the Tornado. I'm very surprised to hear they are still in operation, and still catching the uninformed consumer...
I would really like to see some state attorney generals go after this kind of scam marketing. I'd also like to see them go after the "natural male enhancement" commercials too.
The EPA performed tests on the Tornado in both the 80's and the 90's. The thing actually works on carbureted vehicles, but has absolutely no effect on fuel injected motors. So it isn't actually a total scam... however, how many people do you know that drive around with a carburetor under the hood. The most preyed upon animal in this kingdom of ours is the buyer.

What the heck are you talking about. The natural male enhancer is fantastic.
I have gone up two dress sizes.
I tried on out when I still had my '00 Ranger. Didn't do anything. I intentionally ran through a couple of tanks of gas in the first two weeks--driving around town, and down the highway. I saw no difference and returned it after two weeks.
The commercials allways look like there's so much more airflow that makes that little fan of theirs spin. but after thinking about it for awhile, you can get that result by simply restricting the airflow--which is what I'm guessing the Tornado does...
Did anyone ever wonder what would happen if one of those little "fan blades" on that gadget came loose and got sucked into the engine? I don't think it would be a pretty sight. Nor would the fix be cheap.
