I am no having a problem with the key turning. I am having a problem with the outer casing of the ignition being loose. Sometimes the warning bell won't go off after I take out the key, and you just have to move that outer casing until it lines up right nad the alarm goes off. What do I need to change to fix this problem?
I had this same problem on my old 93 F-150 (no longer own) and I opted to just live with it. To correct it, I believe thta you have to replace the ignition switch (something I did not want to do). I agree it's annoying. A locksmith may be able to help out with this and I've alway found them to be real cheap if you bring the vehicle to them.
Also, it will help others on the forum to help you if you can post some additional information on your vehicle (year, engine, 4wd or 2wd, etc.). Your signature is a good place to do this. Welcome to the site.
