'92 Explorer diff. info tab
I have a '92 standard drum Explorer rear end. It has a tab attached to in with numbers and letters on it. The top line is "S624B" and the lower line is "08 88 1 H12". I know the rear is a 8.8 inch rear. Can these numbers be used to tell what the gear ratio is for it? Thanx!!

The gear ratio is "3.08:1", but the "3" is either under the bolt holding the tag or cut out of the tag for the bolt hole. And yes it is a Ford 8.8" open diff., or without a factory posi/limited slip.
