'92 Explorer diff. info tab
I have a standard drum '92 Explorer rear end that I have read the numbers and letters on the tab attached to it. There are two lines of info stamped. The top line is "S624B" And the lower line is "08 88 1 H12". I know the rear is a 8.8 inch rear. Can anyone tell from this info what the gear ratio might be for the rear?

The gear ratio is the first few characters on the second line, but what you've posted doesn't coincide with anything expected. The second line should start out x xx or xLxx, where the x xx is the gear ratio (3 73 = 3.73:1 gear ratio). Sometimes the first digit gets lost underneath the bolt, but I can't think of what gear ratio would end in 08.
