Stuff happens. I haven't heard of this being a problem, but then I am no expert.
could be worn out engine, poor oil circulation causing bearing failure, over reving the engine, heavy knock or detonation causing bearing failure, or just plain bad luck.
If it went through the block, time for a new engine, you can't really rebuild a bad block.
