Hi there I am going to do a SAS on my 81 Bronco and I want to keep my coils.
Is this really that much harder than converting to leafs????
The other ?? I have is that if I find a Dana 44 to swap in but does not have the same gearing can I just swap the gears from my ttb 44 to the solid????
If you find a front 44 out of a 78' or 79' f150 or bronco you should be able to keep the coils. At least I did when I swapped a 79' bronco front into an 80' f150 I used to have. As far as the gear swap I think a dana 44 is a dana 44 so I would have to say yes.
